| As an artist, my essential aim is to produce an original idea never heard before; examine and learn from traditional heritage, but at the same time, explore and apply new models of experience in music. In the process of my exploration and research, I pursue an interdisciplinary approach that requires multi-ethnic cultural space, intimacy with own tradition, analysis of contemporary music and participation in the popular culture. My original music usually incorporates more than one established music category. On one hand, being an educated jazz musician, I cannot deny my affinity for improvisation and jazz music skills. On the other hand, my cultural roots naturally blend all my musical experiences together, such as Balkan, Hungarian, Western music or other neighboring traditional heritages.
